Blocked addresses

Block incoming senders and manage outgoing delivery restrictions.

Open Settings → Blocked to manage incoming senders for your accessible inboxes and outgoing delivery restrictions.

Incoming senders

Open a received conversation and choose Conversation options → Block sender. Confirm to move the conversation to Spam and route future messages from that sender to Spam for that inbox only. Spam is not forwarded. Other inboxes are unaffected.

Choose Unblock in Settings to allow future messages back into the inbox. Existing Spam is kept: open the conversation and choose Not spam · move to inbox to restore it. Restoring a conversation alone does not unblock the sender. No messages are deleted automatically.

To move a conversation without blocking future mail, choose Move to Spam instead.

Outgoing delivery restrictions

The Blocked outgoing recipients section lists recipients MailMoose refuses to send to across the organization.

Why an address appears

  • Hard bounce: the provider reported a permanent delivery failure, often an invalid or unavailable mailbox.
  • Reported as spam: the recipient complained about a message.

These restrictions protect recipients and sending reputation. They are separate from incoming sender blocks.

Before unblocking

Check the recorded reason and resolve the cause. Correct a mistyped address rather than repeatedly mailing it. Do not unblock a spam complaint simply to send again; obtain an appropriate basis and recipient consent first.

An authorized owner or admin can choose Unblock. This removes MailMoose’s block but cannot guarantee delivery or remove independent provider restrictions.

If sending still fails, check sending limits and domain readiness.
