Mail is not arriving
Check addresses, access, MX routing and delivery status.
1. Check the inbox exists
Open Domains and confirm the exact address. Unknown addresses do not become inboxes automatically. Create the mailbox before testing, then ask the sender to retry.
2. Check your access and filters
Select the correct workspace and inbox or All inboxes. Clear search and unread filters; check archived mail. All organization members have access to every inbox in that organization.
3. Check receiving DNS
Open the domain’s guided setup and use Check now. Confirm MX at the authoritative DNS host matches the supplied records. Old MX entries may still route to the previous provider.
DNS caches vary with TTL and sender behavior. Some messages can reach the old provider during a transition; there is no fixed one-hour guarantee.
4. Check the old provider and sender
Look at the old inbox, forwards and spam. Ask the sender for any bounce, including the error and time. Test from an independent account such as Gmail or Outlook.
Mail sent before an MX change stays at the provider that received it. MailMoose does not import it automatically.
Outgoing mail missing?
Check sending readiness, your subscription, sending limits and blocked recipients. A provider-accepted send can still be delayed, bounced or put in spam.
Review delivery information and DNS authentication. Do not repeatedly resend to a hard-bounced recipient.
Still stuck?
Use the app’s feedback/support option with the domain, sender, recipient, approximate time and error. Do not include API keys, DNS-host credentials or unrelated private message content.
