Using your inbox
Search your mail
Find mail by subject, sender or message text.
Use inbox search and click a domain in the sidebar for all its inboxes, or an email address underneath for just that inbox.
Sent, Drafts and Spam show mail across all accessible domains when no domain is selected. Selecting a domain or address filters those folders. Click Inbox to return to all domains; an old browser selection won’t silently filter your folders.
What is searched
Search matches subjects, sender addresses, snippets and plain-text message bodies, including partial words. Attachment filenames and file contents are not searched.
Combine filters
Open Filters beside Search to filter by unread, attachments, archived mail, sender or date. The button shows how many filters are active. Clear filters keeps your search words and mailbox selection. Archive state still applies during search: switch to archived mail to find an archived conversation.
Only accessible mailboxes are returned. The default inbox lists received conversations; sent-only threads and drafts have separate context.
Nothing found?
Try fewer words, check inbox and archive filters, and confirm mailbox access. Check Drafts for unfinished work.
