Mailboxes
An inbox, or mailbox, is an address such as hello@example.com with conversations and a sender identity. All organization members can access it.
The paid plan includes unlimited inboxes on all your domains; the free plan includes two. See pricing.
Aliases and forwarding
The current app creates mailboxes, not configurable aliases or forwarding-only addresses. Catch-all delivery is not configurable here. Existing mailboxes can forward a copy of new mail to a confirmed external inbox, as described below.
To use two addresses today, create two mailboxes. Read them together in All inboxes.

Also send new mail to another inbox
A mailbox can send a copy of each new email to an inbox outside MailMoose, such as Gmail. Open Settings → Forwarding to search your inboxes, see destinations and confirmation status, and change or stop forwarding. Inboxes are grouped by domain. Use Fill empty destinations to enter the same address for several inboxes, then send confirmation for each one you choose. Quick-fill only prepares the fields; it does not enable forwarding or save a workspace-wide default.
You can also open the mailbox's settings with the pencil, in its inbox or under its domain on the Domains page, and enter the address next to Also send new mail to.
Each forwarded copy counts toward sending usage. View your allowance and usage in Billing.
- MailMoose first emails that address a link. Nothing is sent there until someone opens it and presses Start forwarding, so a mailbox cannot be pointed at an inbox whose owner did not agree.
- Each copy comes from the mailbox's own address with the sender's name in front, such as "Apple via MailMoose". Replying to it answers the original sender.
- The whole email goes: subject, text, design, links and attachments. Mail MailMoose marks as spam or as carrying a virus is not sent on.
- The original still arrives in MailMoose and stays there.
- Stop forwarding, in the same place, ends it. Whoever receives the copies can also stop it from the link in the confirmation email.
Only an owner or admin who has the mailbox can turn this on. It pauses if the person who set it up loses access to the mailbox, and one mailbox sends at most 50 copies an hour, which keeps a loop between two inboxes from running away.
